Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: March 2025
When we refer to “we”, “us”, “our”, “manufacture” or “seller” we mean Optranest. Where we refer to “you” or “your” we mean you, the person using the Services.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Acceptance of orders is based on the express condition that the buyer agrees with all the terms and conditions contained herein. Acceptance of delivery by Buyer will constitute the buyer’s assent to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions represent the complete agreement of the parties, and no terms or conditions in any way adding to, modifying, or otherwise changing the provisions stated herein, shall be binding upon the manufacturer unless prior written approval is signed and approved by an officer of the manufacturer. No modification of any of these terms will be affected by the manufacturer’s shipment of goods following receipt of the buyer’s purchase order, shipping request, or similar forms containing printed terms and conditions conflicting or inconsistent with the terms herein.

CLAIM AND WARRANTY POLICY
- Products once set up after unpacking in a particular location must not be repacked or moved to another location. This warranty does not extend to the product if damaged when subjected to repackaging and relocation.
- All foam composites naturally soften with use. This softening does not constitute a defect under this warranty. Deformation of foam structure falls under our warranty.
- Any remedial work carried out by a third party will nullify the warranty.
- Drawers/Shutters may tighten/loosen as per atmospheric conditions like humidity, and temperature in the surroundings. These are not covered under the warranty.
- The warranty does not cover damages due to usage of products beyond their intended use and wear and tear in the natural course of product usage.
- All metal and wood finishes change slightly with time due to their natural behaviour. Colour, texture, and graining variation can occur in natural products like leather, glass, fabric, stone, wood, metal, etc. Oxidation/discoloration in Brass and Copper, cracks in natural products, and veining in stone etc. shall not be covered under the warranty.
- Hardware damage such as that of drawer channels, bed hydraulics, furniture legs etc. shall be covered under our warranty period provided that the defected hardware is shipped back to us for replacement.
- We recommend that any remedial work be done locally if possible as any labour work that needs to be carried out shall be chargeable.
- All fabrics should be dry-cleaned only. We do not provide any guarantee/warranty on fabrics.
- International Orders:For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions, and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country specifications, and can be discussed directly with your sales and product coordinator.
PRICES
- The price of the goods is in Canadian Dollar CAD
- The prices do not include any transportation costs or fees associated.
- Standard packaging is included in the price. The client can require specific packaging, although it will be charged accordingly.
PAYMENT TERMS
- All purchase orders/cheques to be drawn in favour of “Optranest”.
- Our production team will begin manufacturing only after the approval and 50% advance, balance payment if any, shall be paid before the dispatching of the goods.
RETURNS & CANCELLATION
- Each product we create is Custom Made to Order, hence once clients approve the final quotation and the order is processed, it cannot be cancelled.
- Optranest is not responsible for any damage to the product after delivery and checking by the receiving party. Notify for any damage immediately upon delivery.
- If your goods are faulty or damaged when they are delivered, which will be made sure after due verification involving photos and videos of the furniture from your end, you may return the faulty goods to us. On return, we will (at our option) repair or replace the goods or provide you with a refund of the purchase price and the price of delivery.
SHIPPING POLICY
- We would require a minimum of 90 days for handover of furniture after realization of advance payment and confirmation of final drawings. We strive to provide accurate lead times and inform the customers promptly of any unforeseen complications that may arise.
- The prices do not include transportation costs and fees. Shipping costs vary based on product weight and regions. They are available so please contact us for additional information.
- Whenever the client chooses to transport the product(s) by his/her own method or means, we will be free of any charges or responsibility for events that might occur during transportation.
- We do not hold responsibility due to any delays caused because of the client’s society rules or restrictions during the furniture delivery.
- Outstation:
- For outstation sites, installation/assembly can be made available at additional charges
- An additional 7 days shall be required for transit/transportation purposes.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- All furniture pieces manufactured by Optranest are the intellectual property of Optranest. This includes the design, craftsmanship, and any other unique features of the furniture.
- Optranest reserves the right to record, photograph, and/or video any furniture pieces manufactured by us. We may use these recordings, photographs, and videos for promotional, marketing, and other purposes in any form, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials. We value our client’s comfort and privacy. If you have any concerns or specific requests regarding the use of photos or videos of your furniture pieces, please inform us and we shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferences and ensure mutual satisfaction.
